Originally formed in 2003, the Association consists of locally based, independently owned, small, medium and large sized scaffolding companies, as well as suppliers of scaffold related equipment.
Membership of the Association is based on a shared ethos of good quality service and a commitment to local labour and suppliers, and to provide ongoing employment.
All members are expected to comply with a set of criteria including such things as adequate insurances, relevant safety policies, and a commitment to ongoing training and development. |
To this end the Association has worked hand in glove with the H.S.E. and local councils to seek solutions to the problematic areas of work in city centers and other areas with pedestrian density.
The Association is proud to be in the Health & Safety Executive and local authority scaffolding protocol which was launched on 20th June 2005 in conjunction with the H.S.E. and City Councils.
